This house was based on a reduced plan of the Veneto Villa, but with a brick exterior, timber sashes on the face and timber pediment and Doric doorcase. The site slopes down to a lake on the south side which gives the opportunity to form a basement with small windows, thus raising the ground floor to a piano nobile.
